Growing up, the kitchen counter in my family home served as the hub for breakfast, laughter with friends, many late homework nights and, most importantly, baking! I began baking with my family when I was little and developed a more passionate dedication for it during my college years. Then, in 2019 I completed my bachelor’s degree in food science and spent early post-graduate time working in the food and flavor industry. It’s this background that enables me to help home bakers better understand the nuances of baking and, ultimately, bake with greater confidence!
My fascination with baking has always revolved around curiosity and intrigue. Whether it’s experimenting with a new techniques or exploring unexpected flavor combinations, I always try to infuse my recipes with novelty. Besides, the culinary world offers plenty of chocolate chip cookie recipes to choose from, and life becomes more fun when we embrace stepping beyond our comfort zone.
